		<description>There&#039;s no question in my mind that there is a need for health care reform.  The question is what reform?  One of the elements of the Republican plan has to do with allowing competition across state lines.  That would open the health care industry to competition and competition might bring down the cost of co-pays.</description>

		<description>Don&#039;t forget, choice is part of the issue people have with private health care as well.  The price and copay hike most private health care charges a patient to see an out of network doctor is significant.  Also quite a few doctors won&#039;t take patients who have out of network insurance.</description>

		<description>I agree with you that pressure from the right is killing the bill - that&#039;s the plan.  While there certainly are people on the left who want a public option, there are many people who are adamantly opposed to anything which takes away their choice.  I&#039;m a little surprised to hear a liberal against choice...</description>

		<description>It&#039;s the constant cowtowing to the right that&#039;s killing this bill.  The people want a strong public option, but they won&#039;t get behind a weak one, or a plan that sounds very much like what they have already only with more taxes.  The president needs to push the public option more aggresively.</description>
